In the pursuit of excellence – UTAS creates a virtual Open Day experience to students around the world.

An immersive online metaverse type of experience was design, developed and delivered to host an online Open Day experience to attendees all around the world. The 3D virtual platform replicated a number of design elements and functionalities previously featured at each live UTAS Open Day to make students feel more connected – like the Career Hall & Info Hub. Within these areas, participants were able to chat with staff members and current students to discuss different facets of university life in real time. To give the platform an edge, we Designed ‘Our Island’ and a campus tour feature where participants discovered and interacted with different cultural and highlights that UTAS has to offer.
