A leading brand defined by smart technology and seamless integration. Our award-winning solution for Konec at this year’s Sydney Build Expo was all about connection – creating a space as transformative as the brand itself.

Konec’s solution needed to spark attention and drive meaningful engagement with professionals in the building and construction industries. Designteam’s objective was to create an original design that powerfully reflected the brand while encouraging interaction and facilitating meetings with targeted audiences.

The original brief was simple: a house-like structure to showcase Konec’s products. We refined this into an open curved form, moving away from traditional angles in favour of modern circular lines that complimented the Konec visual identity. These shapes were echoed on the floor, intentionally guiding visitors the branded space.

The structure itself was designed as an open environment using colour, lighting and layout to attract and hold attention. Product displays were built into timber backdrops with integrated cabinets and surfaces to allow for demonstration and interaction. Strategic orientation helped connect with the natural traffic paths, increasing visibility and access.

We integrated brand-led giveaways to extend impact beyond the event - yellow basketballs rewarded visitors who booked meetings, and yellow roses added a human touch that left a lasting impression. A bar area created another reason to pause, interact and stay.

Konec was awarded Best Stand Engagement – a testament to the considered layout, high visitor traffic, and quality of interactions onsite.
