ICC Sydney

Travelling tradeshow stand at various national and international shows.

  • Tradeshow stand design
  • Build at several locations
  • (Inter)national project management
  • Winner of the Best stand award

The Brief

The new International Convention Centre (ICC) in Sydney needed a  bespoke tradeshow stand that represented the new state-of-the-art building. The new stand was essential in bringing relevant business to the ICC prior to, and after its opening.

The Challenges

The stand had to show the various functions of the ICC as a tradeshow building, convention centre and theatre, whilst showcasing the modern facilities and the beautiful design and superb location of the building.

The Outcomes

The creative approached was based on the triangular shape theme of the new building and branding. This element came back in the flooring, wall, plinths and especially the spectacular floating ceiling structure made from profile cut triangles with backlit LED lighting for a halo effect. A maquette of the new building was made as well so that representatives could highlight the new space and its various functions to prospects. The stand received the Best Innovative Stand Award at AIME.

"Designteam really took the time to understand who we are and what we wanted to achieve. They took the architecture of our building into account and the delivery was exceptional.
Their pitch was innovative and of the highest quality – they had a clear vision, which resulted in a huge impact. They were leaps and bounds ahead of the rest when it came to the pitch. Their quality and style was unbeatable – they even had an app that showed us a virtual reality of exactly what we were going to get."
